Rebecca Wachtel, who applied Riley Keough's makeup for the new limited series Daisy Jones and the Six, spoke with E! News about how she transformed Riley Keough's appearance so that she could play Daisy. The interview can be found on the website Inside Riley APK.

When it comes to the art of conveying stories on television, the thing that matters the most is beauty.

Just ask Rebecca Wachtel, who oversaw the makeup for Daisy Jones and The Six. She'll tell you all you need to know. She brought the rock 'n' roll show set in the 1970s that was broadcast on Prime Video to life with looks that represented the highs and lows of the fictitious band.

Rebecca stated this in an interview she gave to E! News: "Makeup is a big deal." "It paints a picture," someone said.

For instance, Riley Keough portrays the role of Daisy Jones, who experiences the most profound transformation as a result of being consumed by fame and then expelled from it. By utilizing particular makeup colors and skincare products, Rebecca creates a vivid picture of what the rock star is going through for her audience.

The person who does your makeup commented that you have a clean face and that she appears to have been in the sun. She has an air of the 1970s." "Then, though, she begins to gain popularity, and you may notice a slight increase in the amount of cosmetics that she wears. We engage in a wide variety of activities in order to demonstrate to her that she has evolved from being insane and dependent on medications. When she really pushes herself, you can tell by the amount of dirt on her face and the amount of makeup she's wearing. This is not the Daisy that we are familiar with."

Rebecca stated that watching Daisy go from wearing makeup that was natural and relaxed to applying heavy layers of makeup to disguise her pale skin demonstrates "the arc of what she goes through until she goes too far."

"She starts with warmer-toned eyeshadows on her face and warm colors on her cheeks," she said. "She has a very natural look." "When she starts to lose control, I start to take away the color by using eyeshadows with cooler tones, and I let some of her natural circles show," the makeup artist explained.

The transition that Daisy made to more dramatic and heavy makeup helped express another message as well, which was that a new beauty age was beginning.
