Squad puts together a mix of traditional and non-traditional groups to fight each other in real-life battles that make you feel like you're part of something bigger than yourself. Choose a side and join a nine-person group to fight 50 other players in intense, large-scale battles. Squad has weapons from the US Army, the Russian Ground Forces, the British Army, the Canadian Armed Forces, the Middle Eastern Alliance, the Irregular Militia, and the Insurgents.
System for Building
Do you hear the sound of gears rubbing against each other? Are you afraid that you will die quickly at the end of a T-72 Main Battle Tank barrel? Send down an anti-tank guided rocket system with your Squad Leader to get rid of that annoying tank. Squad gives you a lot of different ways to adapt to the battlespace's changing needs. Set up weapons like HMGs and AT guns, or use shields, HESCOs, and razor wire to make a strong position.
The Conversation
Communication is the best way for soldiers to fight the enemy and is the peak of the Squad experience. We offer a top-notch in-game VoIP system that lets you talk to other soldiers nearby, to other soldiers in your squad, between squad leaders, or from squad leaders to the Commander. This makes it easier to communicate on the battlefield. We also give fire team leaders and squad leaders a lot of other tools, like map tools and in-world marking tools, that they can use to keep their squads and teams informed.
